How to Install
Follow these steps to install the Civil 3D add-in using the standardized bundle installer.
Download Setup
Download the official setup executable (v1.0.0) from the downloads section.
Run Installer
Ensure all AutoCAD and Civil 3D sessions are closed. Run the installer.
Select Civil 3D Versions
Select your installed Autodesk Civil 3D versions (2024, 2025, 2026). The installer automatically configures the plugin bundle.
Launch Civil 3D & Sign In
Open Civil 3D. Locate the BIMUsers ribbon tab and click Sign In to authenticate.
Authentication & Login
Authenticate in your browser and automatically return focus to Civil 3D.
Universal Deep Link Protocol
We use the unified bimusers://civil3d/login scheme. When your browser completes login, Windows seamlessly passes the token to Civil 3D without manual copy-pasting.

How do I sign in to Civil 3D?
Click Sign In from the BIMUsers ribbon tab. Your default browser will open to verify your account, and then instantly return focus to Civil 3D.
Can I use the add-in with standard AutoCAD?
Yes. The plugin is designed to run seamlessly on both Autodesk AutoCAD and Civil 3D 2024, 2025, and 2026.
How do I update to the latest build?
The built-in Update Manager detects new releases automatically. You can also download the latest setup EXE from this page.
Where are recovery snapshots saved?
Snapshots are stored in `%LocalAppData%\BIMUsers\Snapshots\` and can be opened with 1 click from the Auto Save settings dialog.
Is my drawing data kept private?
Yes. All drawing modifications happen 100% locally on your machine. We never transmit DWG geometry to external servers.
