How to Install
Follow these steps to securely install the add-in using our unified multi-version setup.

Download Installer
Download the latest unified package (v1.0.0.0 or newer) from the downloads section.
Run Setup
Ensure all Revit instances are completely closed. Launch the installer.
Select Revit Versions
The installer will automatically detect available Revit versions (2023, 2024, 2025, 2026). Check the boxes for the versions you wish to install the add-in for.
Launch Revit & Login
Open Revit. Navigate to the BIMUsers ribbon tab (Settings, AI Tools, Export Tools) and click Login to authenticate.
Authentication & Login
Seamlessly connect your local Revit environment to your cloud profile using our secure deep link protocol.
Secure Browser Authentication
We utilize OAuth 2.0 with a custom deep link protocol (bimusers://). This means you authenticate safely in your default web browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox). Once signed in, the browser automatically hands the secure token back to the Revit application.

General Settings
Defines the default directory for all batch exports (PDF, DWG). Can be set to local drives or network servers.
Saves your current panel states and window positions globally across all Revit sessions.
Updates Manager
Checks the BIMUsers Hub for new stable releases silently in the background when Revit starts.
Opt-in to receive pre-release builds. Not recommended for production environments.
If a new version is found, an "Update Available" modal will prompt you with release notes. You can choose to "Update Now", "Later", or "Skip This Version".
License Management
Your license tier determines tool availability.
- Free User Access to basic data management (Find & Replace, Level Sync).
